LLL meetings

For exchange of information and experiences with other parents, it is possible to participate in an LLL meeting. Expecting and breastfeeding mothers with their children and partners, as well as any others interested in the subject of breastfeeding are invited to attend.

• Parents can have their problems and concerns addressed and can offer their own tips and suggestions to other participants. Watching mothers interact with their babies and seeing how different and yet similar they are can be helpful.
• The topics discussed cover the most important practical, physical and psychological aspects of breastfeeding.
• The moderating LLL Leaders are all mothers with personal breastfeeding experience who have completed an international training programme to become La Leche League Leaders and who are committed to keeping their knowledge up-to-date.
• LLL meetings are often the starting point for lasting friendships.
